All Piercing's take six to twelve
months to heal. Your Piercing's
are open sores. Therefore,
you are susceptible to infections!
Due to the fact that our pearcers cannot nurse you 24 hours a
day .
GOLDENLANDS CANNOT AND WILL NOT BE HELD
RESPONSIBLE FOR THE HEALING OF ANY PEARCINGS
PREFORMED BY OUR ESTABLISHMENT.
You must clean your Piercing's at
least two times a day until it
has healed.
Oral Piercing Care
Every
time you eat or drink: brush your teeth,
rinse with water, Rinse with Listerine,
Rinse again with water.
No alcohol or aspirin
for seven days.
No
sucking on a straw and No smoking.
Use
ice and ice water to cool the mouth, as often as possible
for the first two days. This is very
important!!!!
It helps to stop the bleeding and
will reduce pain and swelling.
Eat
only soft foods.
Check
the balls on the barbell daily and tighten as necessary.
Swelling,
tenderness and secretions are normal!!!
Swelling should subside after four
days.
All Other Piercing's
The best place to clean your piercing
is in the shower.
Use your clean hands, no cotton or
kleenex.
Be sure to carefully adhere to
the following procedure.
Apply Dial Antibacterial Soap with
hands to skin and jewelry.
Rub jewelry and skin to clean gently.
Turn and rotate jewelry (only when
you clean it).
Rinse Dial Soap off, while rotating
jewelry to thoroughly rinse
the inside of the opening.
Dry area with a bath towel. Do
not use cotton, kleenex tissue or
anything that could leave dust
or dirt.
Cover piercing with a bandage to
keep it clean, if desired.
Redness, tenderness,soreness and
secretions (daily) are normal!
Do not apply creams or solutions
of any kind. This includes alcohol,
peroxide, Neosporin, Polysporin
or Triple Antibiotics.
Do not turn, touch or play with
the jewelry unless you are cleaning it!!!
